This is what it's all about. What a blessing it was this past weekend to hold our give away in the new building. We didn't know what to expect as we have never served this community before.
Praise the Lord we ministered to 53 families and helped three burned out families. For seven of those who traveled,this was their first time to go. We had five individual churches represented. We are greatful for those who went and the many supporters we have to help us from time to time. There's no way we could provide for the people without you.
Our building is far from completion, but we were able to use it, unpainted walls, temporary heat,etc. (If you moved you lost your spot in front of the heater, seems like someone was always calling me for something, I believe it was planned.) We need painters to help with the painting and some to help build two more walls. Be praying for this, and of course for funds to complete.
Many folks are asking what can they do for us. Right now our greatest need is monetary. We would like to provide, fruit, candy, nuts, stocking hats and scaves for the Children.
