Great Week

Sorry I'm a little behind in my updates as I have been in WV 16 out of the last 30 days.

First an update on Marianne, after going back to the Doctor on August 6 and he told us that he felt the pain was coming from the nerve trying to heal itself. He put her on steroids and as soon as they began to wear off the pain came back. She has an appointment on September 10 and we hope to find something out. Please keep her in your prayers as she is being left behind while I am gone.

Last week we had our first team in out new building; a team of 21 from the Butler Methodist Church in Saluda conducted VBS and sports camp as well as provided book bags with supplies, clothing and food to the people of Matoaka.

I was very impressed with these young people and the preparation and work they did. What a privilege to have them come and assist us in our ministry.

We hope that this is just the beginning of teams that will come and help us with the building as much work needs to be completed before next summer. Hopefully we can have teams at least every other week next summer.

Please continue to pray for the ministry, God has been so faithful in providing our needs.
