July has been a very exciting month; the Lord has been so wonderful in his providing the needs for the ministry through appliances, clothes, food and other gifts. Without the support of churches and individuals our ministry could not exist.
The Board of Directors held a meeting discussing the needs of the folks in West Virginia and what we could do to help. While some plans are on hold we will continue our ministry to the Little Birch Baptist Church and its Food Pantry and to The Mountain Marketplace Mission.
We made a second trip to deliver food and appliances to Mountain Marketplace Mission. It’s always a blessing to see the work and to be with Gary and Lily Melton. The workers immediately began packing food that we brought for distribution the next day. We arrived just in time as food was low, but God’s timing is always prefect. Lilly shared with us that the Electric Stove we carried was going to a Lady who had been waiting over a year for a stove. Hearing reports like this make all the trips to pick up items, the time to clean and repair and deliver brings joy to our hearts.
Marianne and I had the opportunity to share our ministry with the Rocky Grove Baptist Church in Sally, SC who loaded us up with food before we left. It’s so great to have them supporting our ministry. A big thank you to Pastor John O’Cain and the congregation.
I had the opportunity to speak at Good Hope Baptist Church in Saluda and to thank them for their support of our ministry. What a joy to be with the folks there, again big thanks for their support.
We covet your prayers as we continue to travel up a down the highways each month.
