God Is So Good

August was a very exciting month with the ministry, so many folks supplying the needs of the people. We began with a trip to the Little Birch Baptist Church to paint and replace the tile in the two bathrooms. My two work a bee’s. Wayne Rosier, Terry Timmerman and I spent three days and a job to be proud of. How grateful I am to these two for their support.

On Thursday Josh McClendon and a team from Philippi Baptist Church joined in for a ministry at The Meadow Bridge Homecoming Festival on Friday and Saturday. There was not the usual crowds that normally come according the home folks and Saturday was dampened by rain, but the fellowship together was great.

On Tuesday August 23, we traveled to Clintwood, VA to Second Chance Clothing operated by the Clintwood Methodist Church to help provide some clothing for this new ministry in another area with many needs. Pastor Dan Teiban filled us in on the situation in the area.

This past Sunday evening we had the opportunity to share with the folks at West Creek Baptist Church in Batesburg, SC. They were gracious in supplying us with clothes and food for the ministry. I thank Pastor Hank Fanning and Baptist Men’s Director, Marty Havird for having us over.

Cold weather is fast approaching and the needs will be greater, pray for God to provide the necessary food and clothing for this ministry.
