IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER

It’s time to bring you up-to-date on the exciting things that are happening in the ministry. Sorry for being so late but as many of you know Marianne is having a problem now with blood clots in her leg. She is improving each day, but we won’t know for a while if the clot has dissolved. They tell us that it will be a long ordeal. Please continue to pray for her.

May 25 we traveled to Keokee, VA, to the Charity Baptist Church with Pastor David Parsons. We arrived in the early afternoon and were met by some members of the church to help us unload and set up for Saturday morning.

Back to the Motel (I might add to the only one in the area,) it turned out to be one we were not accustom to, but a place to lay our head and get a shower. Sure missed the comfort and staff at the Sleep Inn in Princeton, WV.

Saturday morning after breakfast at Hardees we traveled back to the church for the Clothes Give Away. Folks came earlier than the announced time, so we allowed them to begin their shopping. We enjoyed our time there as we witnessed a young girl excited over finding a dress to wear to the Prom and the excitement of the children as they picked out a toy

It was on this trip that Marianne began to experience her problems with the swelling of her leg. So glad we decided to come home as the next day we ended up in the Emergency Room.

Tuesday June 5, Wayne and I traveled to West Virginia. Our purpose was twofold. We checked on the building that we are due to close on June 26 in order to get information on the Power and water. After lunch we traveled to Danese, WV, to Donna’s Haven to deliver clothes to her. What a joy to get to see and fellowship with Donna.

We then traveled back to South Carolina arriving home about 9:30PM, a long day and a lot of miles.

Below is a picture of our building located in Lashmeet, WV. This building is centrally located in the areas we serve. It will save much time as we will not have to pack up the clothing to bring back home each time.

Please pray that God would provide the $60,000 for the closing of the property. Thank you for your faithful support.
