November Updates

November has been an exciting month for the ministry. We began on the first with a trip to Donna’s Haven in Danese, WV, by taking an assortment of items along with clothes for the people in her area. Was so good to see Donna and listen to her as she describes the many needs of the people and how she is helping meet those needs. We are grateful for Donna and the work she does in the Danese area.

On November 10, Wayne Rosier, Terry Timmerman and I traveled to Matoaka, WV, to deliver furniture to the Bridge Baptist Church for several people in the area along with some stuffed animals for the Clothes Closet. This was a very speedy trip as we went and returned the same day.

We have been blessed this month with over 50 individuals and four churches making donations of clothes, food, furniture, shoes, pennies and other monetary gifts. From the depths of our heart we say thank you, for without you our ministry could not continue.

Yesterday as we were sorting clothes and toys my heart rejoiced over the ministry that God has given us. Even though I won’t get to see many of those who receive what we take, I can just visualize that little girl when she gets her doll or that young boy when he gets that new pair of shoes.

Friday morning we are traveling to Matoaka, WV, to have a free clothes give away in the local gym on Saturday. We are excited over the opportunity to provide winter clothes for those in need. We look forward to ministering to the people of this area.
