This past weekend was a wonderful time as seven of us traveled to West Virginia to once again help the folks in their hour of need. We carried furniture for a burned out family and also rented a storage shed to store some additional furniture for future needs. God continues to bless our labor and more people are getting involved every day. I am so thankful for all of you folks who help us in this ministry, not only your gifts, but also your prayers and encouragement.
We also spent time at the Little Birch Baptist Church as Saturday was the day the food pantry was open and the crowds was large and everyone got an ample supplies of groceries. As I was handing out food packages God gave me the reassurance that this was what I needed to be doing in my service for Him.
Melanie once again was cutting hair and she had a big pile of hair at the end of the day. Ann and Marianne were busy giving out winter coats that many of you provided. Josh, Terry and Wayne were busy carrying the groceries to the cars.
God has laid on my heart the community and the Town of Meadow Bridge where Marianne and I filled in a Calvary Baptist Church the summer of 2009. Please pray for the work, Pastor Zeb Volpe and the wonderful people there. Pray that God would open the door for us to establish a ministry in that area.
We’ve been looking at buildings and hopefully soon God will provide the building and the people in the area to help us. We have established the, Shepherd’s Hands, a ministry to help the people of West Virginia, pray for us that God would provide everything we need for His ministry.
